SATANIC PANIC: The Last Session (One Shot Adventure)
A downloadable game
In 1986 they said the game was satanic. In Fox Hollow, they were right.
Fox Hollow, October 1986. Three kids are missing, and the town has already decided who's to blame: the high school CASTLES & CRYPTS club, five teenagers who play a tabletop game in the library after hours.
The club says they're innocent. They're right, and it doesn't matter. Because the demon they invented for their homebrew campaign three summers ago has crossed over and become real. Only the club knows its rules. They wrote them.
SATANIC PANIC: The Last Session is a complete 80s small-town teen horror one-shot for GATEWAY RPG:
Before play begins, your table invents the demon. You name it. You give it two or three house rules. Then those rules become real, and the thing wearing them comes to collect. No two tables fight the same demon.
- 4 acts, 9 scenes, one 3.5-4.5 hour session for 3-5 players
- The Act 0 opening ritual: build the campaign, name the demon, write its rules on index cards
- A demon that never cheats. It follows your table's rules absolutely, even when they cost it everything
- A ticking Panic clock: curfews, book burnings, and a rally where the town names the demon aloud
- 5 pre-generated club members (the DM, the Jock, the New Kid, the Final Girl, the Pastor's Kid), statted for both Standard and Advanced rules, plus printable blank sheets
- Player handouts, cut-out stat cards, a keyed town map, and a one-page GM dashboard
- Content guidance: missing kids, satanic-panic hysteria, light gore. We recommend lines, veils, and the X-card at every table.
Don't play GATEWAY RPG? The book includes system-neutral conversion guidance, so you can run it with whatever rules you like. Written for GATEWAY, playable anywhere.
